However, there are many other forms of iron that are beneficial to our bodies. For example, the heavy metals found in our bodies do not react well with the water in our bodies. That is why it is very important to make sure that we limit the amount of heavy metals in our bodies when trying to get healthier.Ionic solutions are very strong and extremely reactive. This is one of the reasons why these are used as a final step in many chemical formulas. The chemical allows the mixture to react properly, which in turn leads to the creation of a stronger formula, and this is generally in the form of a stronger compound.This is one of the key points when it comes to learning about chemical formulas and their chemistry. University Fees University Fees University FeesUniversitiesUniversity Fees - are they making higher education a privilege only the affluent can afford? Should education be free? Is education a right (indeed a human right) or is it a privilege? If education does indeed, so the old philosophy says, set you free, should you have to pay for this freedom. It`s only relatively recently that the realms of higher education have been available to everyone. Before the second world war it was mostly families of affluence who sent their children to university. When I was a student the only criteria was your academic ability: If you can make the grade, you gain admittance. Certainly nothing should hold any student back but their own intellect. Of course those very abilities may well depend on the primary and secondary schools they have attended. Even the quality of nurseries varies widely, as research conducted by the University of Oxford, and published by the Nuffield Foundation in 2014, has shown. This study pointed out that there is a distinct `nursery gap.` in areas of differing affluence. Private and voluntary (not-for-profit) nurseries and preschools situated in disadvantaged areas, were seen to be of considerably lower quality than those catering to children in more advantaged areas. The report suggested the main reason for this was t hat more teachers were applying to the nurseries and schools in the affluent areas, and that these schools could offer a better wage; and with more applicants the schools could select the teachers they thought were best suited, while being able to employ more, and so keep class sizes down. University tuition fees were introduced by the Labor government back in 1998. By today`s standards the charges seem very modest - around 1000 a year for most subjects, but there was a huge uproar at the time. The annual fee of 1000 was cited as being a quarter of the cost of the student`s education. The fees were dependant upon parental income, with students from lower income families being exempt form the charge, and were index linked with inflation, reaching 1225 in 2007 08. Maintenance grants, which had been introduced to help cover the costs of students` living fees, were replaced by student loans. The student Loans company had to operate within very strict parameters - any company offering large sums to students (many of whom were away from home for the first time, and could easily be induced to borrow more than was wise) had to be highly regulated. The funds lent wouldn`t have to be repaid until the borrowers were in employment, and earning over a certain amount. The introduction of student fees in 1998 was met with much public outcry - Former Labour education secretary Ted Short said publicly that he was ashamed to be a member of the Labor party; and Ken Livingstone (just prior to him becoming London Mayer in 2000) accused education ministers of `whipping away a ladder of opportunity which they themselves had climbed.` Though largely unreported many universities wanted to raise the tuition fees - petitioning representatives for a `United States-style` system, which would allow them to charge whatever the `market will bear.` Up until 2010 there was a cap on what universities could charge for tuition - at that point it had reached 3,290. In the October of 2010 The Browne review into the future of Higher Education Funding published a document entitled `Securing a Sustainable Future for Higher Education,` that would soon allow fees to soar upwards. While the document was replete was laudable statements such as `Everyone who has the potential should be able to benefit from Higher Education,` and `No-one should have to pay until they start work,` it also proposed the cap should be removed. As quickly as Novemeber of 2010 the government had reached a general agreement that annual fees of 9000 should be introduced, with interest being charged at 2.2% plus inflation. The government finally opted for a tapered rate, dependent on income, which would rise as high as 3%. In the 2015 budget George Osbourne announced that tuition fees, capped at 9000 since 2012, would be index linked to inflation, (and so rising) from the 2017-18 academic year onwards. A fee of 9,250 is now the typical annual charge. Are these fees dissuading people from attending university, or are they necessary to fund the higher education system. I must confess that to me they look astronomical. I was lucky enough to attend university before any charges existed, and was able to get by on my student loans. So, no handshakes between the candidates at all at the third presidential debate. 2. When asked if hed accept the results of the election, Trump wouldnt say that hed accept the results, opting instead to say hell look at it at the time a major break from the tradition of the loser coming together with the winner and thus uniting the country post-election, the peaceful transfer of power being one of the prides of this country as said by debate moderator Chris Wallace of Fox News. This failure to agree to honor the results of the election is astounding as every other candidate and winner/loser has done so in the past. Clinton pointed out that Trumps answer was par for the course as hes quick to play the victim and blame the system when hes not the winner, as hes done in this election, calling it rigged when he lost the Iowa GOP caucuses and now that Clinton is in the lead. When his TV show didnt win an Emmy, Clinton added, Trump again blamed the system, which Trump didnt deny, instead interjecting to say that he shouldve won the Emmy. 3. Gun control was one of the foremost topics to be discussed, with Trump saying that if Clinton were to win, the people would end up with a Second Amendment that was a small replica of what it should be. Clinton said that she doesnt see any conflict between saving lives and defending the Second Amendment, as guns are the cause of thousands of deaths each year, and as such, would be in favor of some gun reform measures which would close loopholes that allow people to access guns when they shouldnt be able to. 4. Another topic that came up rather quickly was Roe v. Wade, the court decision which gives women the right to make decisions about their own bodies and the ability to obtain abortions if they choose. Trump said hed appoint justices that are pro-life and who would end up overturning the Roe v. Wade decision, which would then put the burden back on the individual states to make choices about womens abilities to have abortions. Clinton argued that the government has no business in these very personal decisions that women and their families make and she wants the court to represent all of us and would therefore select judges who support marriage equality and abortion rights. Clinton values the Roe v. Wade ruling as abortions should be available to women and they should be the ones to choose what to do with their bodies, unlike Trump who has made past comments saying that if abortion were outlawed, thered be some kind of punishment for women who obtained one. Trump then accused Clinton of being okay with late-term abortions which Trump said rip the baby out of the womb of the mother, while Clinton maintained that under certain circumstances, such as when the mothers health is at-risk, those abortions need to be possible and its still not the governments business. 5. Talking about immigration, Trump said that we have some bad hombres in the U.S. and we have to get them out, stating his desire for strengthened security and border patrol at the U.S.-Mexico border in order to keep the drugs out of our country. 6. Trump repeated his claim that no one has more respect for women than he does, which caused the audience to break their vow of silence to laugh. He flat out denied the validity of the nine women whove come forward in the last week whove claimed Trump allegedly groped or made sexual advances toward them against their wishes, saying that I didnt even apologize to my wife because I didnt do anything. Trump instead accused Clinton and her campaign of either paying the women who came forward or they came forward in hopes of fame or being paid by her campaign, as shes allegedly been paying her supporters to incite violence at Trumps rallies, a claim that has not been substantiated. 7. When the debate somehow found itself talking about Russia and Putin, Trump stated that Putin doesnt respect Obama, and by extension, Clinton, and Clinton memorably responded Well, thats because hed rather have a puppet as president of the United States. Trump interjected twice, saying Youre the puppet in response to Clinton, but did eventually say that of course hed condemn hacking and election interference by Russia or anyone else and that while hes never met Putin, if Russia and the U.S. were to get along, it wouldnt be so bad. Whoever you decide to vote for, just make sure you get out there and vote election day is November 8th. Americas future is in your hands.

While most traditional offices and company facilities have codes of conduct for the workplace, a coworking space may not have as many rules written in stone, but its still important to be aware of common courtesies and pleasant interactions that can make life better for everyone there. This is especially important for those who may be transitioning from working at home to working around others in a new environment. Starting Out With The Introvert Survival Guide Many people who come to work at coworking spaces are introverts. Some people have the wrong idea about introverts as being antisocial or not wanting to have any conversations, but that isnt always the case. In many cases, introverts do love to have conversations when they meet their interests, but they tend to be more picky about what they like to talk about. The great thing about coworking spaces is that since there are many people independently working, an introvert has a good chance to meet someone whos doing similar work to what theyre doing. And if theyre lucky enough, they might have a chance to add a new employee, partner or client by getting to know that person. Some Good Ways To Start Socializing Some coworking spaces have different rooms that have different atmospheres as far as talking and quiet are concerned. People who have big projects that they need a quiet atmosphere to work in will use the quiet corners or library-like rooms in order to maximize their production and meet the deadlines. But for those who need a more collaborative environment or need areas with which to try and talk to others or find a welcoming group of workers, social rooms are a better place to start. Some introverts do well in a group if that group welcomes them in on their own, but they may not do so well if they have to initiate their own way into the group. If thats the case, a good idea is for an introvert to try and find someone else who does most of their work alone and start talking with them. Making The First Approach In A Shared Office Space Often the first step for an introvert to have success in a coworking place making new contacts and friends is to engage the person in even trivial conversations, whether its having the same snack foods, using an app on the phone they both like, or just anything they find interesting that another person is doing. These connections might go somewhere, or they may not but by at least showing that theyre making a conscious effort to reach out, theres a good chance an introvert will start making friends in a fairly quick manner. But a key rule in the introvert guide to socializing is for them to make the first move themselves because thats the only way others will know theyre interested in talking to them. A Guide For Introverts To Create A Positive And Productive Atmosphere One of the best ways an introvert can make and keep friends is by exhibiting a courteous and mindful spirit in the workplace. Keeping things in mind such as using headphones when listening to music, having phone conversations in more private areas of the building and not cluttering up the work area beyond their allotted capacity are some good ways for introverts to maintain a pleasant atmosphere. When using shared equipment such as coffee makers, printers, or just kitchen areas in general, its good to clean up messes, refill equipment that was used, and make sure things are reset to the condition they were in when appropriate. And while usually there are designated areas for eating meals, if they have to be eaten while work is being done its good to make sure they arent messy and wont cause a disturbance to others.
